Biology:
The cat flea is now the most common flea infestation pathogen. Its main host is the domestic cat; secondary hosts include domestic dogs, rats, dwarf rabbits, goats, sheep, cattle, horses and humans.
The adult animals grow to a length of 1.5 to 3.2 mm. Further general information on biology is described in the dog flea.
